Tis the season of giving for Rotary del Sol’s Rotarians!
For the 5th year in a row, Rotary Club of Coto de Caza and Rancho Santa Margarita del Sol (Rotary del Sol) will provide Thanksgiving dinners for 20 families in the immediate RSM area. The Club works with local schools to gather names of families that were in need of a meal for Thanksgiving. Several Rotary del Sol Rotarians and their families met on Wednesday, November 26th at Ralphs in Rancho Santa Margarita to pick up the dinners and deliver them to the local families. This annual tradition has proven to be a very moving experience for many Rotary del Sol members. See photos.
Club members will also continue their “Adopt-A- Family” tradition during the upcoming holidays. Rotary del Sol works with Families Forward, an organization in Irvine that provides for needy families, to fulfill each family’s wishlist. Rotary del Sol Rotarians feel very fortunate to be able to provide for these families and hopes their outreach will make their holidays a little brighter.
